A community of post high-school young adults

What is Axis?

Axis is a community of post high school young adults who meet weekly.  Most of us have chosen to commute to school or join the workforce.  We hang out and encourage each other to lead a life of faith, character and community.

When and Where does Axis meet?

We meet weekly at different locations around the city of Pittsburgh, starting around 8:30 pm and finishing up around 10:30 pm.

How can I connect with Axis?

Follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on hangouts, events and other Axis announcements.  We look forward to meeting you!

Why does Axis exist?

Not everyone who graduates from high school goes to a four-year college.  A growing number of students choose to commute to school or join the workforce.  Imagine the radical change in their social life by late August after most of their friends have left for school.  These young adults are alone.

Axis is a Metro Pittsburgh Youth for Christ program we’ve developed to encourage faith, character and community for post high school young adults.

The ultimate goal of Axis is to present the person, teachings, and love of Jesus Christ as the axis that stabilizes and brings strength, significance, and balance to our lives.
